Products!!! I've been meaning to do this for some time now and well lets just say I finally took the time. I have discovered that if I wait til I have the extra time it will never get done, because what....wait....oh yea....extra time that's not something I seem to have! Anywhoo here is some pictures of the products from my last wedding. This bride purchased the copyright release cd. Included in every wedding package I offer a custom 10x10 lay flat album (fully customized). The cd comes with custome cases. Everything, as you can see, is boxed and packaged all up nicely. This is my nephew Nick and his date Ashley. The Anderson County High School prom was Saturday night the 16th. Love the purple dress! I got to use my new prop the black and white bench. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and had to have it. Wow, I just used "it" in a sentence three times....there is probably something not right about that. Anyway.....this was the first session I use it and have already used it on another session since then. Keep your eyes peeled because I plan on using it alot. LOL...it...it....it.....it. I guess that is my word for the night! LOL!!!

Pumpkin Carving FUN!!

Here are the pumpkins that we carved this year. I tried to quickly snap a few shots as we were carving these late one evening. I personally think that we did a good job! LOL! We carved these using a small carving knife and a potato peeler. My son helped, he would take the chucks that fell out as I was carving and chop them up into little pieces, as you can see below. I though I would share these with you since Halloween is this weekend!! I hope that each of you have a SAFE and HAPPY Halloween!

Here are a few pictures that I snapped of my son a few days ago. I've been super busy editing Wedding pictures that I thought that I would take a break and edit some of my favorite subject before I started on engagement and wedding sessions. Isn't he sooooo handsome....well I can say that I am a little partial!! He is five now and so grown up!
We came home from school and put the dogs outside and he wanted to play on his playset for a while and I got to thinking about how our family is about to take a huge step in our life and well.....it made me a little sad....a little excited....I just wanted to cherish this moment I was having with him and the dogs, so I went to grab my camera and I snapped away! More to come on that subject....to be continued!!

I call this one the many faces of Hayden! I didn't even ask him to do this...he just did!

New Family Members

Meet the two newest members of our family. Sadie and Sissy....Basset Hounds. Our son has begged for a dog for as long as I can remember. Our last dog Mollie (R.I.P.) unfortunately had a car accident and my son was sooooo upset. She was a sweet dog....very hyper....but sweet. We missed her terribly, so we went on the look out for another dog.
This time I had a few requests....they must be LAZY and small!!! My husband's brother and his family have a Basset Hound named Sally!! She is so sweet and my son loves this dog....he gets down on the ground and loves and pets on this dog. She just sits there and lets him. So I decided that was what kind of dog we needed.....lazy and easy going.
After looking for a couple of weeks we happened upon an ad on-line. The ad said they had 2 female Basset Hound puppies that were born in March. We contacted this person and made arrangements to go meet and pick out a puppy. When we got to the meeting place the owners brought these two dogs in a small cage together. They were thin...very thin....so thin you could see their ribs and back bones. The owner states that the mother dog was eating their food. Our hearts went out to these dogs and my husband asked what would they take for both of them. SOLD!!
I took the dogs to the vet and since I couldn't get proof from the owners on any vaccinations....we had to start the shots and they were checked for worms and well.....they had them that was one of the reasons they were thin. We have given them their meds and been feeding them lots. They both seem to have put on some weight. They play now and seem to be feeling much better. Sadie is the friendlier of the two and Sissy is the nosier of the two.

This is Miss "K", you've seen on here before I did her prom pictures. She is a senior at CCHS this year and after graduation plans on attending ETSU for a degree in elementary education. She is beautiful and very photogenic. I had a great time at her session, even though it was so HOT outside we managed to cool off in the car between locations. I recently did a session for a good friend of mine and her girls. They are our neighbors and my son loves to play with the girls. I was afraid that we were going to get rained out for this session, but the clouds cleared up and it actually turned out to be great session. Well.....except for the mosquitos. You might recognize this couple, I did their engagement photos a few weeks back. They are a very sweet couple and I had a blast at their wedding. It was held at the Wedding Chapel in LaFollette. Cute little Chapel if anyone is in the market for a wedding location. The reception was held at Mountain Creek Farms, which I highly recommend. I took so many photo and finally have narrowed it down.....here are a few that I have finished. SNEAK PEAK! Here is lil miss "O". She is 10 days old and as cute as a button. When she first got here she was wide awake and looking around at everything. After a bottle she went to sleep and we started the session. I was so excited to get to use my headbands and hairbows! There are lots more pictures to see, thanks mom and dad for being so patient. Beach 2010 - Part I - East Tennessee Photographer

This year we went on vacation with my husband's family. We went to Charleston, SC. It was sooo beautiful, but sooo HOT!! We stayed in The Isle of Palms. Our motel was right on the beach with restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would recommend this area to anyone. We got there on July 4th and well.....there were so many people they were practically walking over each other and after the ride there I was ready to go back home. LOL! Everyone was there just to see the fireworks and it wasn't that crowded the rest of the week. This was my first time being at the beach on the 4th and getting to watch the beautiful fireworks. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the fireworks. Just take my word for it....they were beautiful. I was excited to see how excited my son was...getting to watch the fireworks at the beach!! The night before we left we took some pictures on the beach. Here are a few of the individual shots of the kids. I have lots more to edit.....I am so behind. There will be a Part II. Keep you eyes peeled! :)

While we were there we went to the "Magnolia Plantation". Here are a few shots I took of my son! Isn't he just the most handsome little boy you ever saw?? :)

Gutter Guys #1 - Lake City T-Ball Tournament 2010

The Gutter Guys! Hayden's T-Ball team won the Lake City T-Ball Tournament for their age group Saturday night! It was a hard day...they had 1 game Friday night and 5 on Saturday. It was a double elimination....so they had to be beat twice. It came down to the last two teams. The other team we beat on Friday night...so they had to beat us twice in order to win. They won the first time we played them Saturday night, then we had to play them again and we won 16-6! These boys and girl played HARD and was so very tired, but they pressed through the last game and came out winners! I am so very proud of Hayden and all the boys and girls on the team. Thanks goes to the coaches for taking the time and patience to practice and teach these little ones. Unfortunately I was unable to get individual pictures of each of the players getting their medals....their were two of them giving the medals out.....they were too fast...I couldn't keep up with them!

Hayden's Nanaw told him she would give him $5 if he hit the ball hard! And he did....Thanks Nanaw!
